Focus: Maintenance Effectiveness and Organizational Development
Suncor Energy mines and sells oil and gas, operates retail shops under the Sunoco brand, and supplies energy, both from oil/gas and renewable sources. In a recently concluded project, we helped Suncor’s refinery practice with Maintenance Effectiveness & Reorganization. This amounted to a massive CMMS change effort in which we assisted in much of the contingency planning and execution. At the start of the project, Suncor’s weekly maintenance work schedule compliance was well below 25 percent; at project’s end, compliance was routinely above 85 percent. In a prior assignment we also helped Suncor tackle Staff Utilization issues.
