Daylight Energy is a growth-oriented intermediate oil and gas company that converted from a trust structure to a corporation in May 2010. The company is focused on exploiting numerous resource plays on its extensive Western Canadian land base. Daylight has a balanced mix of crude oil, liquids-rich natural gas and natural gas and resource play natural. Our work with Daylight Energy included an assessment to evaluate operational processes, execution capabilities and competencies in the three assets and in Calgary to provide management with actionable insights on how to drive sustainable improvement in the implementation phase. Our follow-up Operational Excellence Implementation Project focused on optimization and consistency in field operations; enhancing the profitability and performance of the assets through the optimization of Production and OPEX management and controls; and focusing on effective controls and metrics to produce sustainable improvements.
