- Creating Operations Excellence strategies for each field/major asset: We help the client create operating strategies that will ensure significant improvement in moving even marginal assets toward more strategic importance.
- Why our approach works so well: Our approach to production operations excellence focuses on working with field personnel. We go into the production areas, ride in the vehicles, hold safety training, and coach individual pumpers, operators, foremen, suppliers and support personnel. Additionally, we regularly provide training to field personnel so that skills and competencies are elevated. All of this means that our client will be better able to sustain performance excellence, once achieved.
- LOE Reduction: Reducing LOE is a major deliverable for production operations. This is done through skilled “content-rich facilitator consultants,” MTG tools and methods, and the use of our Execution Control SystemSM (a proprietary administrative process for helping client personnel collaborate better, learn faster, get real results and learn to solve problems quickly and more effectively).
- Production Optimization: Using the approach and methods described above, we establish the “best demonstrated performance” for wells in a field, determine the average rate of performance for all wells in that field, and set the target performance improvement goals based on this metric. Routinely, we have helped our clients improve production volumes, slow down the decline curve and improve safety with this approach.
- Maintenance of Facilities: MTG is a leading provider of maintenance improvement programs for the entire oil and gas value chain – especially production field operations, well maintenance and mechanical uptime improvement.
