Jim Trice, Chairman & CEO
After four years serving as a regular US Army infantry officer, Jim spent 10 years at IBM before joining the management consulting industry in 1989. Prior to joining MTG, he served as Sr. Vice President at Gemini Consulting responsible for diversified industries worldwide and as President of Peter Chadwick, Inc. (now known as Celerant Consulting). His areas of expertise include oil and gas, general manufacturing, change management, leadership development and analysis/design of large-scale change projects. Jim graduated magna cum laude from the University of Miami and completed IBM’s President Class taught by the Harvard Graduate School of Business.
Tom Beckman, President
Tom has over 40 years of extensive industry and consulting experience. After working in the defense industry and serving as president of an infrared services company, Tom entered the consulting field. He has worked extensively in capital-intensive business segments across North America, Europe, and Australia. He currently serves as a coach to senior executives and management teams on leading change, organization mobilization, and sustainability systems.
Jim Nichols, Vice Chairman
After graduating from the University of Texas with a degree in Chemical Engineering, Jim spent 20 years in the refining and chemical industries, which included serving as executive vice president for Solomon & Associates, and as president at Pride Companies, L.P. and Chemical Lime Company. His area of expertise is operations and developing world-class organizations through high-performing, continuous improvement cultures.
Jim Miller, Vice Chairman
Jim joined MTG as Vice Chairman of Corporate Development when his consulting company (James Miller & Company) merged with MTG in late 2008. Jim has over 30 years of experience in leading major consulting practices and has consulted to many leading corporations in the United States, Middle East, West Africa, Russia, Asia, and Latin America. His focus has been on strategic and operational issues throughout upstream and downstream oil & gas and chemicals. He is also recognized as a major innovator of strategic methodologies that have proven to facilitate dramatic business performance improvement for clients, including the AlphaWells® family of services, which he brings to MTG.
Frank Davit, VP & CFO
Frank joined The Marshall-Teichert Group in 2008 as Vice President and CFO. He comes to us with more than 25 years experience in all aspects of accounting and finance, including cost accounting, international consolidations, financial reporting, budgeting, banking relations, audits, and taxes. A graduate of Northern Illinois University, Frank holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics and is a Certified Public Accountant.
